2019 and 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid recalled for hybrid system fault

Honda Australia has recalled 89 examples of the 2019 and 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid. According to the recall notice lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), "in cold ambient temperatures, the DC-DC converter may shut down and prevent the 12-volt battery from recharging, resulting in a loss of drive power if the vehicle continues to be driven. "Warning lights in the instrument cluster will illuminate and a warning message will also appear.
