Australia’s “misleading” fuel economy labels under fire after Supreme Court ruling

In the same way energy rating labels on whitegoods compare electricity use of home appliances, fuel rating labels – fitted to more than 15 million new cars sold in Australia since 2001 – aim to compare consumption of new motor vehicles on a level playing field.
