Volkswagen ID electric vehicles no closer to Australia, launch possible beyond 2023

Volkswagen's expanding European fleet of ID electric vehicles are no closer to Australia, as the company claims regions with stricter emissions regulations continue to be prioritised over our "automotive third world." Speaking to CarAdvice, a Volkswagen Australia spokesperson said: "We’ve said previously 2022, [that has] slipped back to 2023, [and it] may even be later than that.
