V8-powered Jeep Gladiator likely, says top executive

A V8-powered Jeep Gladiator ute is a real possibility, according to a high-ranking executive within the company. This means along with a a 3.6-litre petrol V6 and 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6, the Jeep’s off-road ute could also score the same 6.4-litre Hemi V8 from the recently-released Wrangler 392. This big petrol V8 powerplant gives the iconic off-roader 350kW and 637Nm, and is enough to launch it from zero to 100km/h in a claimed 4.5 seconds.
