Germany's Nürburgring racing circuit names corner after the late Sabine Schmitz

The owners of the Nürburgring have confirmed a corner will be named after local legend Sabine Schmitz, who passed away earlier this year following a battle with cancer. The corner links the modern grand prix circuit with the legendary Nordschleife and will be known as the Sabine-Schmitz-Kurve.
