Ferrari appoints tech mogul Benedetto Vigna as CEO, looks to restructure for "exciting era ahead"

Italian automotive icon Ferrari has appointed tech mogul Benedetto Vigna to the role of Chief Executive Officer, as it looks to restructure for the "exciting era ahead." The 52-year-old is currently serving as President of French-Italian semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics, and is set to step into the top job at Maranello on 1 September 2021.
