Fast & Furious Toyota Supra movie car sets auction record

The 1994 Toyota Supra from the original Fast & Furious movie has sold at auction for US$550,000 – or AU$733,000 – and is believed to be the second most expensive Supra ever sold. First appearing in The Fast & The Furious and driven by the late Paul Walker, the 'A80' Supra was the hero car of the film, famously being built into a "10-second car" by the protagonists and showing an arrogant Ferrari driver why Japanese performance cars should never be underestimated.
