2021 Hyundai Kona Electric Standard Range: Smaller 39kWh battery confirmed for Australia – UPDATE: Here within weeks

UPDATE, 21 June 2021: Hyundai Australia has confirmed the 39kWh version of the 2021 Hyundai Kona Electric will launch in Australia "in the coming weeks", badged as the Hyundai Kona Electric Standard Range. "Hyundai already has the two most efficient cars on sale in Australia today ... We intend to expand that leadership with the release of the Standard Range version of KONA Electric in the coming weeks," said John Kett, Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Operating Officer, in a statement.
