2020 Mercedes-AMG A45 S and CLA45 S recalled with spark plug fault

Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled seven examples of its Mercedes-AMG A45 S and Mercedes-AMG CLA45 S, citing a potential fault with spark plug durability. The affected Mercedes-AMG vehicles were sold between 3 February 2020 and 24 April 2020 (Model Year 2020). The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says: “The spark plugs in vehicles may not meet specification. As a result the spark plugs may fail during regular use.”
