Electra Quds Rise EV: Lebanon’s first car unveiled in Beirut parking lot

Lebanon’s first locally-designed and built car – known as the Electra Quds Rise EV – was revealed overnight in a Beirut parking lot, rolled in by its manufacturer's founder Jihad Mohammad. Externally, the aluminium electric vehicle features bulbous wheel arches, faux air intakes, and oversized LED headlights. Its large decorative gold front grille was reportedly inspired by the Dome of the Rock Islamic shrine in the Old City of Jerusalem.
