2018-2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van recalled with brake fault

Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled 2882 examples of its VS30-series Sprinter van, citing a potential fault with brake system. The affected vehicles were sold between 8 August 2018 and 22 December 2020 (Model Years 2018-2021). The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says: “Brake fluid may leak internally at the rear axle brake calliper over time – as a result, air may enter the rear brake system."
