Honda SUV E:prototype revealed as electric HR-V successor

The electric Honda SUV E:prototype was unveiled overnight at the 2021 Shanghai motor show, as the likely successor to the existing HR-V petrol-powered family car. The new model is an evolution of the Honda SUV E:concept, revealed during the 2020 Beijing motor show. Design cues are clearly drawn from the current generation HR-V, however it's unclear if underpinning are shared (or, instead, if this is a ground-up new car).
