2017-2020 Nissan Pathfinder tow bar recalled

Nissan Australia has issued a recall of dealership-fitted tow bars for 2017-2020 (MY17-20) Nissan Pathfinder models. The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), states a manufacturing issue may cause the tow bar to detach from the Pathfinder. Nissan says the affected vehicles were sold between 1 December 2016 and 31 December 2020. The affected Nissan Genuine Accessory items have the batch number '29 18', found on the tow bar's compliance plate.
