Toyota's first electric car teased: X Prologue SUV

Toyota has released a shadowy image of its first ever pure electric car. Despite being the world's biggest car maker and a global leader in hybrid technology, Toyota is yet to join the electric car boom. Toyota's first electric car – an SUV – is due to be unveiled next week. Plans for a possible introduction in Australia are yet to be announced, however if history is a guide our market is usually not among the first to get Toyota's most advanced vehicles.
