McLaren 720S GT3X track-only hypercar unveiled

The 2021 McLaren 720S GT3X has been unveiled, a special edition based on the 720S GT3 racer with "increased engine output, improved aerodynamics, and increased stopping power." Drive comes from a modified example of the existing twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, sending 530kW to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission during normal driving – matching the road-going model on grunt.
