2024 Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman at electric crossroads – report

The 2024 Porsche 718 Boxster convertible and Cayman coupe could be powered by pure-electric powertrains, as the German company embraces zero-emission sports cars. According to UK publication Auto Express, Porsche boss Oliver Blume said a final decision on whether the next-generation 718 Boxster and Cayman would be battery-powered has yet to be made, but the German sports car maker is waiting on more advanced technology.
