2022 Audi Q6 E-Tron and electric Porsche Macan will share platform, CEO confirms

The upcoming Audi Q6 E-Tron will be developed alongside an electric Porsche Macan, Audi CEO Markus Duessman has confirmed. The arrival of the upcoming mid-size electric SUV siblings first surfaced in a leaked Volkswagen Group presentation in December 2020, however Duessman's comments to publications including Auto Express serve as confirmation the Q6 E-Tron (or Q5 E-Tron, as per some reports) and electric Macan will share a platform.
