Today’s Ford Fiesta ST and Focus ST likely the last before electric switch

Hot hatch fans likely have only a few years to enjoy the last “analogue” versions of the Ford Fiesta ST and Ford Focus ST. Both models are expected to be the last of their breed amid a bold plan by Ford Europe to switch to hybrid or electric power by 2026 – and pure electric power for all models by 2030 – announced last week. The Fiesta ST and Focus ST are developed by Ford of Europe, which means these two models are destined to reach the end of the road at the end of their model cycles.
