AMG to supply Aston Martin with bespoke powertrains – report

Aston Martin is set to receive bespoke engines from its powertrain partner, Mercedes-AMG. Speaking at a recent event, Aston Martin Chairman Lawrence Stroll said: "Our current AMG engines are just that – AMG engines in an Aston,” reports British publication Autocar. "With this new deal, we will have bespoke AMG engines for Aston with different outputs, torque characteristics etc. They’ll still be AMG components but bespoke manufactured in Germany."
