2021 Volkswagen Tiguan model range outlined, expected to be top-selling VW next year

The Volkswagen Tiguan SUV is expected to overtake the Golf hatchback in Australia next year – bringing the models into line with their new global sales rankings – once the updated version arrives in local showrooms. The Tiguan SUV almost outsold the Golf in Australia this year, but its sales surge was blunted by production interruptions caused by COVID-19. So far this year, Volkswagen Australia has sold 9364 Golf hatchbacks versus 8567 Tiguan SUVs.
