2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter recalled with potential brake hose fault

Mercedes-Benz has issued a recall on 127 examples of its Sprinter van, citing a potential fault with the brake hose. The affected vans were sold between the 6 April 2020 and 30 October 2020 (Model Year 2020). The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says “the outer layer of the brake hoses at the front and rear axles may have been damaged during the production process”. “Affected brake hoses may leak brake fluid,” the notice continues.
