2020 Toyota HiLux recalled due to compliance label

Toyota Australia has issued a recall of 15 examples of its 2020 Hilux (MY20). The recall notice, which is expected to be lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says the legally-required compliance label was incorrectly affixed to the vehicles. Affected HiLux utes were manufactured between 1 June 2020 and 4 August 2020. Toyota is contacting owners to organise a free replacement of the compliance plate.
