Renault Mégane eVision concept launched in France, production model slated for 2022

Renault has unveiled the Mégane eVision concept, with a production variant slated for launch in 2022. Built on the all-new CMF-EV modular platform – which it shares with the similar-spec Nissan Ariya – power is sent to the front wheels via a 160kW electric motor. Voltage is drawn from a 60kWh lithium ion battery pack, which, according to the manufacturer, is structurally integrated into the chassis and helps absorb energy in the event of a side collision.
