Five reasons why the GR Yaris is the most eagerly awaited sports car of 2020

Here at CarAdvice, we’re all keen to drive Toyota's new performance hero, the GR Yaris. The obvious signs are there: a solid power to weight ratio, all-wheel drive, and unique bodywork. However, there’s more going on under the skin, and at head office in Japan, which are making it worth the wait. One never mentions chassis origins when discussing hot hatches. After all, commonality is a big proponent of their affordability, so we’re told.
