Video: Ferrari's new hybrid V6 supercar caught testing in disguise

The hybrid V6 powertrain earmarked for Ferrari's new baby supercar has been spied testing on-track. A test mule based on the Ferrari 488 – but fitted with what is believed to be a hybrid V6 engine – was doing laps of Ferrari's test track at Fiorano as it was secretly filmed by the YouTube channel Varryx. The muted tones from the exhaust, not entirely dissimilar to a Nissan R35 GT-R or Ford GT, suggest the new engine will likely be turbocharged.
