Rare classic Ferrari breaks record for online auction hammer price

The record for the highest amount paid for a vehicle in an online auction has been broken, with this 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB Long Nose selling for US$3.08 million (AU$4.3M). The classic Ferrari is reportedly one-of-40 painted in 'white sand beach', according to auction house Gooding & Co, with only 206 of the Long Nose versions of the Ferrari 275 coupes ever being built.
