Electric Corvette: fresh rumours after E-Ray badge is trademarked again

Is General Motors about to announce a hybrid or electric version of the Chevrolet Corvette called the E-Ray? First trademarked in 2015, the US car giant has filed another trademark application for the E-Ray badge according to GM Inside News, suggesting a hybrid or electric version of the sports car could be just around the corner. As reported earlier by CarAdvice, presidential candidate Joe Biden let slip about an electric Corvette during a short video posted on his YouTube channel.
