Audi TT Quattro recalled due to fuel tank crash hazard

Audi Australia has issued a recall of 1331 examples of its all-wheel-drive TT coupe made from 2014 to 2019 (MY15-MY19) due to a fault which could cause the fuel tank to be damaged in a crash, and possibly lead to a fire. The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), states "a bracket fitted on the vehicle body could collide with the fuel tank, resulting in damage to the fuel tank".
