2021 Lucid Air obliterates Tesla's Model S range record

The soon-to-be-launched Lucid Air electric sedan has a record-toppling driving range of 832km, according to third-party testing by the EPA in the United States. For comparison, the Tesla Model S Long Range is said to be able to travel 713km on a single charge. The new car draws voltage from a 113kWh battery pack fixed to a skateboard platform. Lucid Motors claims its sedan is said to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in 2.5 seconds and have a top speed of more than 320kmh.
