I was warned by not one, not two, but three of my well-meaning colleagues before getting behind the wheel of the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. “In the wrong conditions and with the wrong driver, this can be the most dangerous car on the roads,” one said. “It’s all about getting those tyres warm and staying away from race mode in wet weather,” another suggested. “Just… be careful,” warned another.
