Toyota Corolla Cross – what to expect from Toyota’s new compact SUV in Australia

Toyota has unveiled its newest SUV internationally, introducing the Corolla Cross nameplate to trade on the one-two punch of its best-selling badge and the continuing rise of SUV sales. Despite the recent global reveal, Australia isn't expected to see the new model any earlier than late 2022, while markets such as Thailand, where the new model will be manufactured, will see stock filling showrooms as early as September 2020.
