The Hyundai Kona electric compact SUV has passed 100,000 sales globally, two years after it arrived in showrooms. The pure-electric car clocked up exactly 103,719 sales as of June 30, 2020 – as is on its way to the first 1000 deliveries in Australia – according to figures supplied by Hyundai. More than three-quarters of Hyundai Kona electric sales are outside its home market of South Korea, as the model makes inroads in the US and Europe.
