Mercedes-AMG's Formula 1 e-Turbo technology to be used in road cars

German performance car maker Mercedes-AMG has revealed new e-Turbo technology that was first developed for F1 race cars will soon be used in their road-going models. The e-Turbo combines elements of electric turbocharging – like what is seen on the brand’s CLS53 and E53 – and conventional exhaust-driven turbocharging.
