Audi Q7 and Q8 recalled due to transmission leak

Audi Australia has issued a recall of seven examples of its brand-new 2020-2021 Q7 (shown above) and 2019-2021 Q8 SUVs due to a transmission leak. The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says an oil pipe fitted to the transmission may have been welded incorrectly, which can result in a leak. A similar recall was announced two weeks ago for the Volkswagen Touareg.
