2021 Mercedes-AMG E53 4Matic+ coupe and convertible unveiled

Mercedes-AMG has given its E53 coupe and convertible a mid-life facelift, with the refreshed two-door models expected to arrive in Australia in October. The 2021 Mercedes-AMG E53 carries over the same 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine used in the current model, equipped with a conventional turbocharger and an electronic turbocharger. Outputs remain unchanged at 320KW and 520Nm, with a nine-speed AMG-tuned automatic transmission sending power to all wheels through the 4Matic+ system.
