2018-2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class recalled, safety features may not work in a crash

Mercedes-Benz has issued a recall of 155 examples of its 2018-2019 G-Class 463 Series SUVs sold as Mercedes-AMG G63 due to a defect in wiring that operates safety features in the event of a crash. The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says a wiring harness may be damaged during regular opening and closing of the front doors.
