Industry experts have issued statements reminding the public that it is ok to buy or sell a used car during the nationwide COVID-19 lockdowns. While most of the attention and news reports have highlighted new-car showrooms and workshops being allowed to remain open as an essential service – particularly for repairs, recalls and warranty work – there has been confusion around the legalities of buying or selling used cars.
