2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter recalled for seat fix

Following a wider recall to address a suspension issue, a small number of 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles have been called back this week. This time, the recall centres on the vehicles seat height adjuster, which may suffer from an insufficient welding job. The company notes that the adjuster's weld seam could break, reducing the protective effect of the Sprinter's restraint systems. The recall affects nine vehicles, and a list of vehicles included in the recall can be found here.
