Tesla allowed to clear land, German 'gigafactory' still not approved

American electric vehicle maker Tesla has received approval from German courts to continue land preparations for a ‘gigafactory’ near Berlin – however the future of the plant is still not confirmed. As reported by Reuters, the approval comes after German courts issued an injunction against Tesla’s site preparations for the plant earlier in the week. The German court stated its ruling was final.
