Porsche 911: Production of 991-generation ends

Production of the 991-generation Porsche 911 has come to an end, more than 12 months after the reveal of its successor. A total of 233,540 have been built since the 991-generation was launched in 2011, making it the best-selling iteration in the 911's history.
