2020 Kia Sorento recalled

Kia Australia has recalled the 2020 Sorento, over concerns about its autonomous emergency braking system. According to the company, the AEB system might fail when approaching a stationary pedestrian or vehicle. If the system doesn't recognise stationary objects, there's a risk the automatic brake assist mightn't activate, increasing the risk of accident or injury to the driver and other road users. A total of 3315 cars are included in the recall – a VIN list is attached here.
