Having debuted in its current generation in 2016, the BMW 7 Series has now reached its planned midlife update, or Life Cycle Impulse (no, really) in BMW-speak. While most brands offer a small change to lights or bumpers in a way that appeals to trainspotters mostly, BMW has been bolder. Much bolder.
