2019 Mercedes-Benz V-Class recalled

Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled the 2019 V-Class, over concerns about the plastic flap on top of the front passenger airbag. According to the company, the plastic flap on top of the airbag could rip off when the front passenger airbag is activated. If the flap on top of the airbag tears off, the front passenger airbag mightn't properly restrain the passenger in an accident. There's also a risk the plastic flap will be propelled as a single piece, or in smaller splinters, into the cabin.
