More details on next-gen Range Rover, new crossover

Jaguar Land Rover doesn’t see a slinky silhouette and reduced off-road ability as being impediments for a Range Rover-branded product, while it also sees an opportunity for the eponymous Range Rover to go even further upmarket. Auto Express reports the new Range Rover crossover – referred to in the past as the Road Rover – will be the lowest and sleekest SUV ever to bear the Range Rover name, while the flagship Range Rover will be positioned to better rival the Bentley Bentayga.
