Hyundai reveals more advanced noise cancellation tech

Darcy Foster • Hyundai has announced a major development in its Active Noise Control (ANC) technology. Rather than relying on traditional methods of sound insulation, Hyundai’s new Road Noise Active Noise Control (RANC) monitors cabin volume to adjust engine and road noise. The brand's current technology could only reduce noise when the sound coming in is constant and predictable, limiting its effectiveness.
