Ssangyong Korando: Petrol engine coming in November

Ssangyong will add a petrol option to its critical Korando SUV line-up in November, following a diesel-only initial launch in Australia. Pricing for the crossover, which is slightly smaller than the Kia Sportage, kicks off at $32,990 drive-away and runs to $39,990 drive-away. But the 'Launch Edition' is only available with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine making 100kW and 324Nm, mated with a six-speed automatic.
