2018 Renault Megane RS recalled

Renault Australia has issued a recall for the 2018 model-year Megane RS hot hatch, over concerns a wiring fault could lead to engine failure. "The oil pressure solenoid valve wiring was not manufactured to the required specifications, which may lead to engine failure," the company says in its recall notice. "If the engine fails, the driver may experience heavier steering, loss of auxiliaries and/or need to apply much greater braking effort."
