BMW M working on more powerful V8 - report

BMW could have a more powerful twin-turbo V8 engine to play with in 2021, according to new reports from Europe. BMW Blog reports the 'S68' V8 engine is between two and three years away, and will be a significant upgrade over the current 'S63' engine powering the M5 and M8 ranges, along with a smatter of M Performance models. The new engine "will still be a twin-turbo setup and it will keep the ‘hot V’ configuration alive too", the report claims.
