2021 Mercedes-Benz EQB spied

The new Mercedes-Benz EQB electric crossover has been spied during testing in Europe. As with other members of the all-electric EQ range, the EQB is based on an existing model — in this case the GLB — and uses a platform designed primarily for petrol and diesel engine cars. This strategy affords Mercedes-Benz a lot of flexibility to scale production up or down depending on demand, as well as reducing development costs.
