2020 Volvo XC40 Electric to be unveiled in October

The Volvo XC40 EV will be unveiled next month and the automaker claims it "will be one of the safest cars we have ever built". Volvo has reinforced the front end as it no longer holds a bulky internal combustion engine. It has also reinforced the rear, and integrated the electric powertrain into the body structure so it is easier to distribution collision forces away from the passenger cell.
